The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) administers a Home Weatherization Assistance Program that helps income-eligible households reduce energy use and improve comfort. Work is delivered through local agencies, and the measures covered are determined by an energy assessment of the home.
Eligibility rules, income limits and the measures covered are set by the program and can change. Rather than restate them here and risk being out of date, check the official program page at dceo.illinois.gov or contact your local administering agency.
We are a private window installation company. We do not administer the program, decide eligibility, or process applications. If the program covers what your home needs, that is a good outcome and you do not need us for it.
If you do not qualify or windows are not covered by your assessment, we are happy to look at the project as a straightforward replacement job and give you a written price.
